Not sure what to write about today? Start with Today’s Prompt. A fresh question every day makes journaling a little more colorful. Once you’re done, tap “See what others wrote” to see the birdy stories of people who answered the same question.

🐿️ Fortune Acorn

Every morning, get a peek at your fortune for the day with a cute little acorn. Tap the new acorn button at the bottom of your home screen and knock away to open a message just for today. It’s gone after noon, so don’t forget to say hello in the morning!

🗃️ Collection

All the acorn messages you’ve opened and the daily prompts you’ve answered are now gathered together in the Collection, under your More tab.

💬 Reply Collection

You can now sort your birdy replies by the most recent reply time, too. When a story has follow-up replies, the one containing the latest follow-up reply now appears first, so it’s easier to keep track. Use the sort toggle to switch freely between story date and reply time.

✨ What’s improved

• You can now turn notification settings on and off in more detail.
• Reporting is now available for birdy stories. If a story seems problematic or concerning, tap the ! button at the top of the popup to report it. Reported stories are hidden from view until our team reviews and handles them.

✨ Bugs we squashed

• Fixed an issue related to Japanese auto-conversion of words.
• Fixed an issue where syncing failed in some network environments.
