After planting “today’s tree,” you can tap the small bird sitting in the bottom right corner to send your Birdy. (This is only available for the tree planted on today’s date. You can’t send Birdy from trees planted on other days.)

When you tap the bird, you’ll first see a preview of how your entry will be summarized and shared with someone. After reviewing it, tap “Off you go!” to send it off.

Birdy usually comes back with a reply within a day. When it returns, it’ll move and sit on top of the tree. Tap the returned bird to read the reply. If you have notifications turned on, you’ll be notified when Birdy comes back.
